Olivier Delaméa (47 years old) is joining the Avril Group as General Manager of the Oils & Condiments business line and member of the Executive Committee.
Within the Oils & Condiments line, he will be responsible for deploying the "Avril 2020" strategic plan, which drives the Group's growth in France and internationally.
Olivier Delaméa had wide-ranging managerial responsibilities within the Danone Group where he spent 25 years and acquired considerable experience in general consumer goods. He spent time in the marketing, commercial and then general management areas, and led the growth of emblematic brands in fresh dairy products (Danone, Activia, Danette), infant and baby foods (Blédina) and biscuit products (LU, Belin).
During his ten-year membership of the Danone Produits Frais France Management Committee, he was particularly closely involved in reviving and supporting transformations in the dairy sector. He also contributed to a certain number of projects of importance to the French agri-food industry, notably through his membership of the Boards of Ania, Ilec and Eco-Emballages.
Before joining Avril, Olivier Delaméa was General Manager of the "One Danone" program, under which he drove the introduction of shared services for the Group in France, and was also General Manager of Blédina S.A., the French leader in infant and baby foods.
Olivier Delaméa qualified from the ESCEM School of Business and Management.
